Academic Research Interests:
Marketing, Marketing Research, Business Ethics.
My current research has an interdisciplinary approach, looking at marketing research ethics. In particular, I am interested in analysing the role of codes of ethics in generating ethical conduct in the relationships between market research practitioners and their clients, and how such codes of ethics affect those relationships. This is a major academic research project that represents my research efforts for the last years for the completion of my second PhD.
The interest in marketing research continued after completing and successfully defending, in January 2005, my first PhD in Marketing (Romania). My thesis discussed the role of marketing research in elborating and grounding marketing decisions; a study of the perception and evaluation of marketing research role among managers from Romanian soft drinks companies was undertaken.
