I was born in beautiful Transylvania (Romania) and have shared the precious moments of my childhood with my older brother.  My parents made sure I have the opportunity to try and do lots of different things - sport, music (violin), fashion…

I was educated at one of the most prestigious and large Romanian university in Cluj (Transylvania) and have gained my Bachelor degree in Economics (Marketing) and then my PhD degree (Marketing) while lecturing at the same university.

In 2002, I immigrated to New Zealand, willing to try new things and learn more about other cultures.  I fell in love with the country and decided to stay.  Three years later I met my husband, Rob, whom I married in April 2008.

We live in the North Shore City (Auckland, NZ), an area north of the harbour bridge, with stunning harbour views and sandy beaches.

On 7th October 2010 we welcomed into this world our little son Ryan Christopher Yallop (3.05kg and 50.5cm).  We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have him and are very happy!
